Who We Are
Ibigwi International Studio is a creative and cultural development initiative dedicated to strengthening and elevating the Rwandan film and audiovisual industry. We focus on film, comedy, music videos, documentaries, and other audiovisual productions, with a strong emphasis on talent identification, skills development, and professional content production.
Our Vision
To elevate Rwandan cinema from a national platform to a continental (African) and ultimately international level by the year 2030.
Our Mission
We train, mentor, and empower actors, filmmakers, and audiovisual professionals while producing high-quality films and creative content. Through decentralization, we ensure young creatives from all regions of Rwanda can access professional opportunities without relocating to Kigali, promoting inclusivity, regional balance, and local creative economies.
